This will be short and sweet, mostly because I'm not at home and I don't really want to spend so much time typing up needless things, and splashes of water are falling onto my palms. xD Anyhow, just wanted to point out that while the strong rains have ceased, the winds haven't around here so it's pretty neat to a point, but here's fingers crossed that the weather doesn't backfire, especially since I'm not in the house. @.@
So the family went out to lunch today at Kimpura, TriNoma to celebrate Dad's return from his Belgium trip. It was the first time we sat down at a teppan, where the chefs cook teppanyaki in front of you.
And since were were in the area, I finally bought something in Comic Alley after the longest time: Yei for a new hat~
Meow~

One of few times I commute going to school and it rains when I leave the house. I surely had the mind to call a taxi instead but thought of the waste of money so there.
But today in school we had day 3 of our Improvisation Workshop which is basically the essence of our Game Design CS class. Lots of fun. ~u~

So today was a rather pleasant day, minus the overcast grey skies and light rains that greeted me exactly when I was walking around going places. Today was a day I took Kai out to lunch at Teriyaki Boy then dessert at Cerealicious; one of the few dates we have where I actually offered to pay for all things edible. Not that I minded since I was itching to get things back on track after the few misunderstandings we've had over the past few days. Plus she looked gorgeous so I ain't complaining. x)
What I would complain on was the service during lunch. It's almost quite nostalgic really that whenever bad service befalls me when I'm out with Kai, my temper is as quick to burn as my dad's whenever an order was forgotten or it was just plain wrong. Then again, that's the trouble when your server doesn't write the damn order down on paper. First it was assumed we were having it for take-out, then one of our sushi orders was wrong (Futo Maki instead of Tekka Maki). Since Kai's aware of my short temper I told her to deal with the servers so I wouldn't blow my top. But ugh. Jeez.
Then Cerealicious. Sweet, yummy, good. As simple as that. You can never have enough good cereal with snow milk like that.
And then afterwards, we parted ways and I made my way back to school with plenty of time to spare for my 3pm class. While waiting outside my classroom, I noticed that the lights were off, which was strange considering I recalled that there was supposed to be a class prior to mine. Peeking inside, I saw some things on the table and wondered if it was my teacher's (I'd later find out that said teacher was actually sleeping in there xD).
Anyway, while waiting, I finally got a text message from the ADSA concerning the parking violation appeal I had submitted some two weeks ago since I apparently parked in a reserved parking slot. Luckily, it was approved! But I was warned that should I ever get another parking violation I'd have to pay the fine. No biggie. Knowing what caused my initial downfall I'm sure not to make a repeat of it anymore so life was good. ~u~

So today we found out that our beloved ALLS venue will be relocating to another room in Faura. More space, thank goodness. ~u~ We'll be moving as soon as we can to kick out the MIS people in F206 (hehehe). But I'm looking forward to the new more spacious area. Yei~ Note that ALLS is a little niche for us thesis-making folk. It's our little home while in school. x)
Dad just got back from visiting his mom in Belgium and came back with some awesome souvenirs. For starters, he got me a Brussels baseball cap. For someone who likes hats I have no complaints about adding more hats to the pile. And then there's the pièce de résistance: a Snowy keychain from my Auntie Trinket!
For people who don't know Snowy is Tintin's faithful companion and I've always liked him during my readings of Tintin comics once upon a time. It's a part of my childhood and we even had a dog named Snowy one time so having this makes me genuinely pleased. x)

So last Saturday I attended the org Sportsfest, Clash of the Clans with a Triwizard Tournament theme. So there was Basketball and Volleyball with a twist, Quidditch, Dama and the Third Task. Hahaha. It was a lot of fun despite the body pains that followed.
I played everything but the Third Task (relay) since things were already delayed. Sooo yeah. Quidditch was no joke, a rough game. @.@ I tackled and played like it's football, no joke. Hohoho.
In hindsight our batch won, but I paid for that by all these with a sore body. And since I'm allergic to Ibuprofen medication I can't take Alaxan to ease the pain. Buh-humbug.

So with the holiday today my Creative Pictorial schedule continued this morning. Got out of bed, combed my hair, got dressed and zoomed off to school. I sorta kinda regret not having my pictures taken against the black background from the get go but that's okay. It still came out alright. 8D
The first one on the top left is the one I chose to be printed out. And what exactly was my theme for my Creative? Simple: Portraying my twin Matsushita Yuya! xD So you could consider this a cosplay of sorts. xD
Anyway here are some pictures from that pictorial~

So earlier today my thesis partner and I had a scheduled Skype meeting with Dr. Andrew Junker, one of the leading researchers with the Brainfingers software that we're utilizing for our thesis. It was quite the interesting meeting since we had projectors flashed everywhere.
We learned a lot and have plans of playing around with the software a bit more and start tinkering with the game code for our thesis. Happy for that. x)
In other news, I got a parking violation ticket earlier today for parking in one of the supposed DSWS Carpool slots. -.- Ugh. Damn it all. I'm handing in my letter of appeal tomorrow.

So this is old news, but it took a picture on my phone to bring this up another time. The best thing to do is show you what I'm blabbering on about.
So what are we looking at? Well, this is just me and Matsushita Yuya, a Japanese male artist I've been fawning over for some time ever since I saw him on the first Kuroshitsuji Musical. Some of you may notice some resemblance. And that is exactly what I'm blogging about tonight. One of my blockmates swiped my phone and spotted Yuya's picture as my wallpaper and asked me if it was me. And I said no, explaining that it was someone else and she commented that he looked like me. And then proceeded to pass it around to the group of whoever was in the lab at the time.
The verdict: Yes. It's confirmed. I have my twin. xD
Had my toga/casual pictorial for the yearbook earlier today. And if there's anything I learned, it's the following:
- never trust make-up,
- hair irons are cool, and
- have breakfast prior to sitting down to get your make-up done :|
I almost fainted since I felt light-headed. Thank God for water.
Well, here's a result of that:
I also purchased the CD of the soft copies of all the pictures taken today so yei. x)
So yesterday was my Mom's birthday. As with the celebration we headed off for a special dinner at YakiMix in TriNoma. Not wanting to miss out we reserved three days prior to guarantee a table and actually getting in. xD
And it. was. IMMACULATE! I've never had so much Salmon. xD
It's always fun to enjoy a meal once in a while, especially if it's Japanese buffet. Grilling and nomming and dipping and what have you. It was a good meal. Thanks family!

So yesterday my thesis partner Jason pulled out a few souvenirs he got during his JTA in Japan. I immediately took interest in this figurine of Archer from the anime Fate Stay Night and he told me I could have it if no one's taken it by the time I left after lunch. And no one did so booyah!
In other news, we received the go signal from our adviser to schedule our proposal defense!! 8DD Finally! That game design document will be the death of me. Next on the agenda is the art components for the game. But after I relax.
So a quick update on my ongoing thesis with my partner Jason.
Well, we have a deadline of sorts to submit the proposal this week to our adviser. And perhaps the most challenging is integrating talk on agent design more than anything since it's the relatively new topic that we'll be delving into besides brushing up on the plot of the game.
Hoho. Thinking back I don't think I've really talked about my thesis very much. Maybe during the next entry I'll give you all the abstract. But for now, there's some Theology to study for!

So today the family and I went to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 at SM Marikina. This was my second time watching since my parents wanted to watch it so hooray~
What's funny was in SM Marikina it was a free seating and the theater was hardly full, and the first two rows of seats in the very front were lazy boy seats. My dad and I decided to watch the movie there once we figured out how to recline the chairs. It was awesome. xD
And afterwards. AFTERWARDS I FINALLY GOT MY DREAM PHONE!!! TuT

And afterwards. AFTERWARDS I FINALLY GOT MY DREAM PHONE!!! TuT
My netbook webcam's a little blurry but you see the Samsung Champ Duos phone right there. One of the main reasons I wanted this was for its dual-sim functionality. I've been meaning to get a Sun sim for quite some time to avail of the unlimited texts and calls I could share with Kai. xD Yei~
IT WAS EPICAWESOMESAUCE!!
That is all I can really say after watching the final movie. A lot of tears surely spilled for some scenes, but also a lot of hearty laughs for the small inserts of comedies splayed throughout the film. But as people have yet to watch it I'll leave out any spoilers for now and just talk about the hours prior to watching it.
So after my 10:30-12:00 class and enjoying from Baked Macaroni for lunch, I zoomed off to Marikina with a coded car to spend the rest of the afternoon with Kai at her place with intentions to leave at 7:00pm once the coding was lifted for the day and headed to Eastwood.
Of course as the showing was at 9, we went to have dinner at the usual place of interest: Teriyaki Boy! And as is the usual with us, we order ourselves some delicious Shake Roll. I took some pictures you can find below. :D

Today is the day! The premiere of the last Harry Potter movie and as has been some form of tradition I gave myself since the 5th or 6th movie: I dress up a bit with the white polo and red & gold tie and bring along my wand originally made by my uncle and greatly modified (for one shortened and colored) by me for some prop. This is probably the first time I thought of taking a picture of things prior to watching Harry Potter but the phenomenon I've come to love so much is worth looking like a geek sometimes.
If only people knew I was attempting to cosplay. xD Who exactly, I have no idea. xDDDD

"Our childhood ends tomorrow." -Kai, July 12, 2011
That's what my girlfriend said when I showed her the tickets I got us (c/o an Ateneo org ACTM) for the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.
With the first book coming out in 1999 and the first movie in 2001, it's a bittersweet feeling to know that everything is ending tomorrow. The final book was released 2007 and tomorrow is the premiere of the final movie.
It's been 10 years over the span of 8 movies and I must agree that it is a phenomenon to get hyped up about, especially if you consider the parallelism during some instances when you read a book. Say you start reading the book the year it comes out in 2001 and you're 11 years old (like me!) so you're bound to immerse yourself into the world like Harry and Co. are. x)
This is bound to be awesome. ^o^/

This post was actually a day late in creation and publication for the mere reason that I was jumping for joy on one end and bawling the next. Why? Lots of reasons.
But before I go any further I just want to greet some birthdays. Yesterday was a special birthday. Tenimyu Seigaku 4th Cast's Fuji Syuusuke, Furukawa Yuuta. So a happy birthday to him. ^o^/
Now then, onto other things. First things first, we have results of the morning's class. Since it was a networks class we dealt with cables and what not. Yesterday we, learned how to make a LAN cable. Success below!
Then that afternoon, I was taking a nap to wake up to my dad coming home not long after with my new Acer Aspire One Netbook! 8D I'm composing this entry on it right now so the picture with the box is in my other laptop, so I'll edit that in later on. BUT, this wasn't all happy happy since I made a stupid mistake of wiping my USB clean while trying to make the other one bootable. After some searching high and low on the internet I finally found a program that could retrieve lost files. All that's left is to rename them and sort them out properly. Will take some time off my hands but well worth it that I got most of my files back untouched. TuT

So I rummaged one of my cabinets for my CD cases from when I was still saving up Php450 to buy them at Comic Alley or during conventions when it was a bit cheaper.
I separated them into two piles, so pardon me for the blurriness of the pictures.

So this is the first pile. My Saiyuki album collection. I still have some lacking apparently but maybe in the future when I'm hoarding my own money I'll search for the missing ones and complete this little collection of mine! ^o^/
These are the rest of my anime soundtracks. Quite a variety too. So from top left, then left to right in succession: Fushigi Yuugi, Detective Conan, Beyblade, Yu-Gi-Oh! (2), Gundam Seed, GTO, Rurouni Kenshin, Shaman King, Yakitate Japan, Get Backers (2), Fullmetal Alchemist, Ranma 1/2, Gravitation, Slam Dunk and Flame of Recca

So earlier this afternoon I was spending my usual time between 12:30-3:30 in ALLS, and Dr. Wayne Patterson from Howard University, who was going to be giving a Cybersecurity Talk among other things tomorrow, was there. One interesting conversation that took place was when he was inquiring about the venue of a certain event that was going to be taking place at around this time when he was clarifying that it be 'on the roof' of some building in school.
I laughed, of course, and he was asking why.
Then I told him that it's more of a 'roof deck' than a roof because we mean that it's the top floor that could be considered the roof so there we go.
Some new terminology that he and I can laugh about whenever someone mentions having an event on the roof (which is not to say that it's actually on top of the roof itself). xD

My days in ALLS are never without laughter. Recently from my previous CS professor concerning some food being passed around, tone very much like a Pokemon trainer. xD
"Jason, return!" - Ma'am Jess, July 6, 2011
'Tis the season of rain and with it, cold weather and rainfall naturally start a'brewing.
(@ ̄Д ̄@;)
So that usually means dressing up and hauling out the jackets and whatnot to keep warm and dry - at least for the most part. As I was getting ready to head off to school when rain started to drizzle/pour. I was initially just supposed to bring along my Invitational Jacket (the red/black/white) one to battle the cold but thought I needed a hood too so I grabbed my Uniqlo jacket as well.
And so the double layer. ☆-( ^-゚)v
I'm at ALLS right now waiting for 10:15 to come along so I can start heading to my 10:30 class in Kostka which is about a 5 minute walk away.
Yesterday I desperately needed change to pay for lunch. So after I went up to the org room for the interview I stopped by the LS Bookstore and decided to buy a little notebook for Kai. She doesn't really fancy the Ateneo themed stuff so I normally browse around for general stuff and snagged this for her.
It cost me Php88.00 but it's well worth it since she enjoys doodling and writing so it'll be put to good use. ^^b

So today was another average, lack of sleep, unproductive day. Why? Two reasons.
1. It rained (hard) sometime in the afternoon during my commute home
2. I've been experiencing chronic headaches/migraines through the course of the day.
=______= I may need to sleep to get rid of this darn headache.
In other news I stopped by McDonald's for a snack and decided to grab myself a Coke glass and got my favorite blue color~

This first semester of my senior year in college rekindled my reading skills. Most of my core subjects (inclusive of Theology, Philosophy, History and Economics) require me to read some sort of material that ranged from excerpts from books, articles and sometimes actual books in the case of Philosophy.
I'm taking Sir Principe for Philosophy 103 this semester (Philosophy of Religion) and as we're his only M-W-F class he asked us to read 4 novels instead of just one. But hey that's less readings and more story so I'm down with that. Now we have a quiz this coming Wednesday on the first two chapters of the book and I'm currently moving along Chapter 2 with ease.
What's particularly interesting is that while it talks about an apparition and all (which I assume is the central message of the story) there are constant descriptions of sex (which are thankfully not explicit descriptions) that I don't really mind. I wonder why. :/

So things didn't end up as we thought it would. Apparently my sister reserved tickets for tomorrow and not for today sooooooooooo we ended up not watching Transformers after all. Wanted to eat at Yakimix but was denied that too when the usual long lines stopped us. And so we decided to eat elsewhere: Italianni's. Whee.
Ah, weekend, what are you doing to us?

So this morning before we headed off to hear 11am Mass my sister announced that she reserved tickets for the family to watch Transformers: Dark of the Moon later this afternoon. Considering she's a Transformers fanatic (among many things) I wasn't surprised, but since our family sorta has been watching all the previous movies together I guess it wouldn't be too much to expect to do it again. After all, it's been a while since we all sat down and watched a movie together.
Go figure. :P
Go figure. :P
THIS MONTH IS THE MONTH!
Counting down to the worldwide release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, I can't believe it's almost over. I found this minute longer trailer that just. looks. so. damn. EPICAWESOMESAUCE. *o*
I've already got tickets reserved for July 14 at Eastwood Cinemas with Kai at 9pm so I'm looking forward to it. CAN'T WAIT!! :D
Watching this already made me see one of my favorite scenes from the book (Harry seeing his parents and the Marauders sans Wormtail) so I'm grateful that they stayed true to the book with that one.
So yesterday because I had a car I went on a whim and took Kai out to dinner after my class. I picked her up with the decision to head off to Max's Fried Chicken to avail of the Chicken-All-You-Can promo while it was still within the period (June-July 10). From SM Marikina we decided to head to the QC Memorial Circle branch instead where there were surprisingly no overflow of guests or even a line prior to 6 o'clock so happy days. ~u~
It was a fun few hours, but despite the rainy drive to and from I'm glad that we got to spend some much needed time together. Love you Kai!

So for the past few days the Philippines experienced Tropical Storm Falcon. And while it didn't have a devastating effect that Ondoy brought, it was still a lot of rain and it still caused floods in several areas. And one of the places that floods frequented was Kai's area in Marikina. So luckily/unluckily enough, I was originally meaning to sleepover at her place last Thursday but due to the heavy rains, turned the tables and she ended up staying with me instead. Until now she's still here with me. Hopefully things die down soon and things come out okay.
Thesis stress has still yet to set in. But maybe when Gabby and Paul hand over their stuff, the gears will start turning. Maybe. I dunno. xP For now I think I should start looking for more references to beef up our thesis. If I can find any. @u@
What's fun here is that:
1. The place is airconditioned
2. There's free food - chocolates + hard candy = FTW
3. There's delivery service
4. There's a refrigerator
5. We get to hear stories from the teachers who usually come to work/pass the time and have lots and lots of laughs
That's a lot of positives I think. :D Yei~
So today I had Saturday morning class. Sucks beans I know, but that's just how the dice rolls I guess. But since it ended early I went to pick up Kai at her place and waited out the lunch rush hour before driving off to Eastwood. And as usual, we spent some interesting time in the arcade. For one thing, Kai got me more animal keychains, hahahaha. AND, while I was playing Virtua Tennis 2, someone challenged me and I beat them twice before some other guy came and trounced me. I do not understand man pride. At all. xD
So yeah! After that the drive home was tedious since it was traffic everywhere. On the upside, I learned a new nifty shortcut. Ho-hum. ~u~

The 5th installment of the popular boy's love movie series Takumi-kun entitled Ano, Hareta Aozora, is set to be out this August (in Japan)! The story sparks a conclusion to the love story between the titular protagonists Takumi Hayama portrayed by Hamao Kyousuke and Saki Giichi portrayed by Watanabe Daisuke. It continues from the 3rd movie (Bibou no Detail) where it focuses on the theme of eternal love. Can't wait to see this one! 8DD
There will also be returning characters and actors for this movie, including:
Misu Arata played by Baba Ryouma
Shingyouji Kanemitsu played by Naito Taiki
Shouzou Akaike played by Takiguchi Yukihiro, including a new character to the scene,
Minoiwa Reiji played by Takazaki Shouta
It's back to school, back to school time! First day was interesting, but very, very hot. DDDDDx
And as with every new first day, new classmates, new teachers (well, sort of ), and new challenges. So before we even bother going into that (as I don't have the knack to do an all-out blog entry yet, I'll leave things like this for a while.

So it's been a few days. I've finished with my OJT with Anino Games, I've paid my tuition for the upcoming semester. Senior year is starting soon and I'm quite inwardly excited to begin. All that's left to bid my summer semester adieu is to get through the Practicum Experience Presentation next Monday then it's thesis, senior year and more thesis. xD Fingers crossed for that!
I'm in the final stretch. Last two days of OJT before I say goodbye for a year to Anino Games. They've been very hospitable to me as an intern and I'm thankful for all the friends I've made and the experiences I've gained throughout the 8 weeks of my stay here. It's always great to know there's someplace I can come back to and someplace that would love to have me so fingers crossed.
I'll miss working with the QA Dept, but hopefully I'll be back to enjoy more with everyone.
But first I need to graduate. xP

It's nice to see something a company's slaved over for quite some time come out on the client's portal for downloading. Luckily, I've had the privilege to test and play this game over and over, so I can proudly present, along with my fellow Anino Games friends the newly released Dream Inn: Driftwood for Windows from Big Fish Games!
I'm glad to have been a part of this hidden object game project coming into the company for my internship. Here's to hoping that the games I've seen will bear fruit and head out into the market in due time!
Get it here!

So Kai introduced me to a nifty tool to color stuff in. In this case, manga pages. :D
For the time being I present to you two of my little works. :3

Tennis no Oujisama
Volume 41 Chapter 361 Page 9
Kuroshitsuji
Volume 12 Chapter 56 Page 27
Since I'll be finding this little tool nifty and fun I'll be putting up a page to store all my future artworks in found HERE. :D
It's been a busy day here and there, and now after Bowling last Sunday my arm is sore. And to cap it all off I'm staying home from work today to rest my developing cold and dry cough. I blame the ice tea.
I think I made things a bit worse for myself yesterday by going to work and purchasing myself a bottle of Nestea. Meh.
And today, the most special of birthdays, myself or Matsushita Yuya's 21st birthday! 8DDDD

So far the episodes are really interesting and eye-catching; plus giving tributes to previous sentais and having a red of that series make a special guest appearance is always a bonus. Hehehe.
Hey there! I'm currently here at Changi Airport in Singapore, boarding a flight back to Manila in a few. Since there was free internet access here at the terminal thought I'd take advantage and type up a quick post with 6 minutes left).
I'll probably be getting back to Manila by the afternoon, so hopefully I'll be able to get in touch with Kai by the time I land and arrive at the terminal in Manila. Hahaha.
Don't have time to make a long post, but I will tell you to look out for my posts with pictures of our journey here (at least from the pictures and my memory).
Talk to you all soon!
