As usual, my lack of activity on this blog is a testament to how lazy I've been logging on here to write up something small to make the past few days something to look back on. It's been nearly a month since my last post, and I don't want to continue the year having to check back on this every month cause that destroys the purpose of having a blog to begin with, wouldn't you agree?
So I actually had two topics of discussion, but I can save the other one for another time. I don't want my blog to be all about work anyway. That's what LinkedIn is for after all.
Today I wanted to talk about my latest venture - learning a new language! This had been something I discovered a while back, but never really took into consideration until fairly recently. Duolingo is an application or website where you can learn a new language, gamified! At present, it offers courses in Spanish, French, Italian, German and Portuguese. This basically puts my self-study of Japanese on hold, but it its always neat learning a new language!
I decided to start learning French, and while I'm still starting out with the basics, it's fun and simple to learn! So if you're interested in learning languages the fun way, try it out! Get it on Google Play, or play it online!
