To end/start the year right, I decided to try out a new layout for my blog that I'll have for a few months. Until I grow sick of it, at the very least. But considering that it's a completely new anime/manga series to me, I'll enjoy it for quite some time.

It all started with that musical, I tell you. @.@ I'm starting to read the manga and watch the anime as we speak~ Hooray for Kuroshitsuji! ^o^/

Happy New Year to all!

So some weeks ago, I stumbled upon a musical of an anime/manga series Kuroshitsuji (translated to Black Butler).

The primary reason I wanted to watch this musical was because of Sakamoto Shougo, 4th cast Echizen Ryouma of the Tenimyu franchise portraying Ciel Phantomhive. Doing my research, I discovered that aside from him, there were about two other Tenimyu actors featured in the musical, namely Aoyagi Ruito (1st Hyoutei cast Mukahi Gakuto) and Uehara Takuya (Shitenhouji A cast Oshitari Kenya) portraying Yuuki (original musical character) and Grell Sutcliffe respectively.

I admit, I haven't followed the manga or watched the anime, so this was a completely unfamiliar realm I was entering, but I pursued and watched through the musical anyway. What I found interesting if not amazed at was the actor portraying the lead role - Sebastian Michaelis -, Matsushita Yuuya. The first song he sang was Yes My Lord. And I am not exaggerating when I say that his voice is somewhat heavenly and polished. But then again, what you would expect from an artist with a powerhouse voice like Kimeru (1st cast Fuji Syuusuke)?

So going through this musical, I found a few more interesting songs that now nestle within the playlists of my iPod. One of which is a duet performed brilliantly by Shougo and Ruito's characters that heavily remind you of Final Fantasy in terms of its essence and music. ^____^

All in all, this was a good watch and has gotten me to read through the manga. Yei~

I guess this is a good time to make a photo journal entry for a change, since I have more pictures to serve as my stories today. ^___________^

So today I accompanied my mom and grandpa to the mall for some last minute shopping. Thankfully I got to get a nice pair of light brown contact lenses that I can use when I go back to playing futsal. ^__^ Less hassle with the eyewear, at least.

Also, last Saturday, Kai and I got to meet up to attend the Cyberzone Cosplay Tour in SM Marikina, and we decided to go as the Silver Pair from Prince of Tennis: Shishido Ryou and Ootori Choutaro. ^_____^ Since we didn't really enjoy much of the con, I just decided to take this picture of us still in costume at my place. xD

While we were there at SM Marikina, we got to purchase a few things for one another for Christmas. 8DD Aside from the cross pendant for my Choutaro cosplay, Kai got me a German Sheppard puppy stuffed animal from Blue Magic we named Doori, shown below.

I, on the other hand, got her two of the cutest stuffed animals I've seen. Mibu and Kouu, from Blue Magic and Watson's respectively. Mibu is on the left in the picture below, while Kouu is the one on the right. We debated what kind of animal Mibu was, but he was just so darn cute not to purchase~ And note that Kouu is a bear in a tiger costume, and you can pull down the hood. 8DD

Merry Christmas everybody!!

I stumbled upon this song quite a while back but never really got the chance to share it properly. The first time I heard Lene Marlin's What If was when it was used for a Prince of Tennis Perfect Pair (Tezuka and Fuji~) MV on YouTube (below). Credit to milkyxduckie for the MV!

The lyrics just go around and around (especially the chorus), but it's a great melody and you wouldn't really need that much to say with this song, as the chorus captures most of what it's trying to say. ^____^v This is a great love song.

What if I don't wanna move on
If I like it as it is
Wanna keep it like this, for a while...forever
Just let me lie close to you
Don't wanna let you go, don't wanna let you go

If I said I want you, if I said I need you
If I said I love you, what would you do
If I said I want you, if I said I need you
If I said I love you, what would you do

What if I don't wanna forget
Don't want anyone but you
Believe me, it's true, for a while...forever
Just let me stay here with you
I don't wanna leave, I don't wanna leave

If I said I want you, if I said I need you
If I said I love you, what would you do
If I said I want you, if I said I need you
If I said I love you, what would you do

And I thought I could, let this go
I thought I would, but now I know
Now I know...

If I said I want you, if I said I need you
If I said I love you, what would you do
If I said I want you, if I said I need you
If I said I love you, what would you do

This semester, I decided to finish the school year by staying with the tennis club, while still taking my final PE course of futsal. Like the past two semesters, I didn't want to be exempted from taking my regular PE classes because they were fun to do and a great place for stress relief.

Thinking back, I think I'm lucky to have been able to take up the four PE classes I wanted to take when I first browsed the offered classes in my freshman year: tennis, basketball, badminton and soccer (futsal).

Of course, engaging myself in sports is something of a choice because I want it to be my form of exercise, so I try my hardest to improve my skills for each sport, building up my stamina, endurance and determination while I'm at it.

Consequently though, I end up physically and mentally tired which would explain the naps long and short I often take the night I get home or the day after when I'm home early. ^___^;; Like today. I had futsal yesterday and took a 3-4 hour nap when I got home today. My legs still hurt, though, so walking (and not to mention running) was a burden. o(><)o

Hopefully my muscles will heal while I sleep tonight.

Yesterday during our lab time, we were tasked to simulate a taillight problem with the use of an integrated circuit, some wires, and breadboards embedded into this fancy device that had switches and LEDs. xD

Electronics, as I find it, is quite the interesting field to delve into once in a while. I guess that was partially why I excelled in my Learning Advancement Program (LAP) for Physics in my 4th year with Sir Resty and implementing logic gates and stuff. ^__^b

So it became an easy task of doing the exercise that only took us about an hour to finish with plenty of time to spare. You might think of this as my forte as long as I knew what needed to be done. ^___^v

I'll update this blog with some pictures of the finished wiring a group picture of my groupmates and I with it. xD

EDIT: Below are the pictures~

December 1, 2009. Today, I'm another year older~
I'm finally 19 years old, and currently in a happy relationship with my girlfriend Kai~ ^o^/

I spent the past two days (yesterday and today) celebrating. Yesterday was a holiday here in the Philippines (November 30, Bonifacio Day), so my parents decided to hold my party then so people could come for an early dinner. ^________^v

Wanting Kai to be present on my birthday, I picked her up at her place in Marikina, which is really a little far away from my house by car. Nevertheless, I went there. Since I was doing so, my parents decided to dump on me some errands to run with things to buy for the party that evening. So before I went to pick her up, I stopped by Shoppersville along Katipunan to buy a few things before making my way to her place.

After picking her up, we headed back home after stopping by Berkeley Square to purchase a few more things (the cake included!) before finally returning home.

The cake I chose from Red Ribbon was a Chocolate Mousse cake, which, I admit, is a type of cake I never bothered eating nor wanting as a birthday cake before. So it was a new experience, I should say. (Oh how chocolate lures me. xD)

Anyway, people came at around 5 or 6 already before we had dinner, the food of course prepared by my mother and my Uncle Jesse (who's a fantastic cook I might add). A nice spread of choices from chicken to ham to fish and pasta to choose from!

What was interesting to note about my birthday was the quality time I got to spend with Kai, as well as with my nephew Tristan. In fact, there was a funny instance between those two that really made me laugh.

The scene was that we were playing Wii Bowling (Kai, Tristan, my cousin Dabz and myself). In the midst of it all, I introduced Tristan to Kai.
Me: Tristan, this is your Auntie Kai.
Tristan: Auntie Kai...?
Me: Yeah~
Tristan: *goes to play his turn*

After a while...

Tristan: *goes up to Kai* What's your name?
Me: *laughs*
Kai: Kai.
Tristan: Ate Kai? (note: Ate means 'older or big sister')
Me: No Tristan, say 'Auntie Kai'.
Kai: No, it's okay.
Me: *in Tristan speak* Has to be Auntie Kai.

Tristan: *plays his turn and runs to Kai* Ate Kai, Ate Kai! I got a strike!!
Kai: Wow~
Me: Tristan, you have to call her auntie, not ate.
Kai: I said it was fine!
Me: No, it has to be auntie!

After some time...

Tristan: *goes up to Kai* What's your name again?
Dabz: How many times has he asked that?
Me: Tristan! *laughs* Four?
Kai: Kai.
Tristan: Auntie Kai look, I got a strike!

When his mom called him to leave...

Me: Tristan, what's her name? *points to Kai*
Tristan: ........
Me: *whispers* Auntie Kai
Tristan: Auntie Kai~
Cute cute kid, that nephew of mine~ (>u<)b

After the party, I took Kai home to her place, so that adds more night driving experience to my belt~

Now, onto the gifts! For this year, I got to cross out a few things from my wish list. Aside from the monetary form of gifts, I got a digital camera from my parents, navy blue chucks from my grampa, a Death note wristwatch from my aunt & her family, and some stuffed animals (not in my list, of course xD) from my sister's boyfriend. Included in this bunch is a wombat hat (for the lack of a proper name) from Kai that she got for me at the convention we attended last Saturday.

Here's a picture my dad took of me and Kai during my party yesterday using my new camera. (>u<)

I hope to get a few more things from my wish list this year. ^o^/

Today, I had school to attend to, but ate lunch out with my family and grandpa at Teriyaki Boy along Katipunan. After that, I met up with Kai and dropped by Starbucks to get some drinks (and to help her get more stickers for her planner). Funny thing was, she arrived and pulled out some chocolates from her bag, saying that they were from Daddeh Owl and Daddeh Burr (refer to this entry to know who I mean). We then went next door to Jollibee so she could have some lunch.

After all the greetings, I'm quite happy about this year's birthday celebration. ^__________________^b

Thanks to all who greeted me in person, by text, by IM, by Facebook, Plurk and any other method possible. It's great to know that you all took some time for me today. THANK YOU!!

This morning, I woke up at 6:40 to my phone's alarm clock and went to get ready for school. Seeing as I was taking a car, I figured I could leave later than I usually would if I commuted (which out be at around 7 in the morning, anticipating the traffic and so forth).

When I was all set, it was already a little past 7, and I told myself I'd leave the house at 7:30 so I could get a good parking space and had time before my 8:30 class. At around 7:20, my mom and her sisters came back from the airport to pick up my grandpa, which was who I was basically waiting for. xD

After saying some quick hellos and chomping on a piece of pancake one of my aunts brought for breakfast, I headed off to school. There's not really much to talk about school, but rather what happened after.

I went home right after my last class that ended at 12:30, and got to the house a bit before 1 in the afternoon. My grandpa, mom and sister went out for lunch, so I was able to rest a little before they came home. Spending some time with my grandpa to catch up on things, I eventually left with my parents to see an orthopedist concerning my scoliosis. We went from the National Kidney and Transplant Institution along East Ave. to Veterans Memorial Medical Center along North Ave. to meet up with Dr. Antonio Sison, who was the director of the latter.

I'm happy to report that my scoliosis is nothing to be worried over. ^__________________^v

After that, we went to TriNoma for a little bit so mom could buy grandpa some shorts, while dad and I went to Starbucks so we could get drinks and I could finally get my Starbucks planner.... which I did. Yay!!! ^o^/

And whether I want to admit it or not, I'll be celebrating my birthday next week. Time flies so fast. T-T

Composing this entry at the new Rizal Library here in school. It took me a while to locate the RSF, which turned out to be in the fourth floor of this humongous building! @.@ Gah.

But anyway, I had time on my hands before Kai and I would meet for a late lunch after her 12-1:30 class today, so I decided to check out the new library here in school.

As I look around the place, it's quite spacious - the study foyer a.k.a. internet center - compared to last time, so it's much more conducive to privacy (at least a bit better now) and concentrating on whatever you plan on doing. ^____^b

Of course, there's no denying the fact that a bigger library means more space. Consequently, that means more tired feet going up and down the stairs looking for whatever you need, provided the elevator is full or just isn't working. Haha.

All in all, my first trip here to the new library was a good choice (even if my legs and feet are killing me from futsal this morning T~T). I'll have to make note to come here by and by. Note to self: Bring crocs on PE days.

This entry will be allotted for sharing a few pictures throughout our family trip to Bangkok, Thailand from November 1-4, 2009. Brief explanations will be provided, of course.

Here we have a family picture upon our arrival at the airport. The terminal was HUGE. Seriously. @_@

The second picture is a shot of our whole group who went on this trip. Thirteen (13) of us all in all. This was in front of the first shrine we visited during our half-day city tour, and the picture was taken by our tour guide Popeye.

Before making our way to the second shrine of our city tour, we came across a McDonald's where the ever-familiar Ronald McDonald was standing outside. His pose, despite the usual 'Follow me/Welcome, step this way!' pose, was uniquely Thai in nature. "Only in Bangkok," so Popeye said. And what better way to capture the moment than to have a picture with it! In this picture is me with my two aunts copying the pose, and my nephew Tristan being his usual, silly self.

Next we have another family picture at the second shrine we visited. Forgive me for not providing names as I didn't expect to be using these pictures anytime soon. Hahaha.

Our group was lucky to have come to Thailand as we were able to take part in the Loy-Krathong Festival held during a full moon that happens every November (or the 12th month in the Thai lunar calendar). It was a wonderful experience! Above is a picture of my mom and I with our krathongs.

Day three of our trip brought us to Samphran Elephant Grounds & Zoo. The highlight of our visit there was of course to see some elephants! I don't know why, but I'm a fan of elephants. Ah, the nostalgia of having read Babar when I was young. xD The ivory that is that elephant's tusks that I'm touching above was really smooth! >u<

This is the climax of my trip: riding an elephant! It only lasted for a short time, but it was exhilarating to have had the opportunity to do this! ^_______________________________^b

And finally, a shot of the my father's side of the family at the airport as we head back to Manila. We basically took this picture to send to my grandmother in Belgium (my dad's mom).

With all the shopping, the site-seeing and the bonding, I think Bangkok is a place I wouldn't mind paying a visit to a second time. ^___^b
on Tuesday, November 3, 2009
Our third day in Bangkok had us experience strong winds in the morning and slight drizzles in the late afternoon. The procrastinating side of me turned off my 7:15 alarm and ended up waking up to a phone call from my dad at around a little past 8. When I got up, I realized how much my legs hurt like hell. Dx

After showering I headed downstairs and saw my parents there and the strong winds blowing in the breakfast area. It was a cool breeze for the most part, so everything was good. ^_____^b Today we had another set of tours to go to that was outside Bangkok, so the road trip was longer than usual. Not having anything to do until 10:30, I went upstairs to play a few games on my DS.

And pretty soon, we were off! Our first stop was to the Samphran Elephant Ground & Zoo. There was a lunch buffet there before we entered the place, but I must say I didn't eat all that much. So much for the buffet. xDD Anyway, at around 12:45pm, we went to see the Crocodile Wrestling Show. There were two guys. More than wrestling with the crocodiles (mind you, there were around five crocodiles there), they performed a few death-defying tricks like sticking their hand in an open crocodile's mouth and pulling away just as the mouth snapped shut. What's interesting is the crocodiles can really hold a position like a statue! Sugoi! ^_________^b

When that was done, we moved to watch the Magic Show. We watched this and the Elephant Theme Show that followed with a group of students on field trip. Let's talk about the magic show first. There were a lot of tricks that the magician pulled off that you'd see in any typical show (tricks you'd find on Breaking the Magician's Code, for one xD). But there were a few tricks that were quite eye-catchy.

One involved catching doves out of thin air with a wire (I think it was wire) net. Another involved transforming a bird into a rabbit. And then of course, there was making a school of fish appear inside a tank! It was something to enjoy, really. The interesting part is that the magician does his tricks to the beat of music playing the background. I like, I like. ^______^b

And then we go to the Elephant Theme Show. It was a sight to see elephants up close striking funny poses and doing spectacular things. At one point one of the elephants walked through the small opening of the barricade to the front of the audience area. Hahaha. It was funny to look at. What was really interesting for me was the elephants playing soccer!! When the show was done, we got to go up-close and pat the elephants, and feel their tusks! Some of us even got to ride the elephant for a while!! It was, I believe, THB70, so the short ride was worth it. Quite the unique experience. Will share pictures another time.

When that was done, we took a quick trip to the Rose Garden to watch a short cultural show before heading back to the hotel. It didn't take long before we were heading back for another afternoon of shopping. I was supposed to get that vest I saw two days ago but couldn't locate the store. Me and my short term memory. But hey, it was a big place! @_@ It's fairly easy to get lost. But yeah. I managed to get something for myself: 3 shirts for THB270. It was a good deal and I love the designs. xD I didn't have time to take pictures of them since mom had to pack already as soon as we got back to the hotel.

We had dinner there at the food court before heading back here to the hotel. My feet and legs are aching, but the experience is well worth it. Tomorrow morning, I'll be going to purchase that vest since my cousin Dabz kindly located the store for me so I have an idea where to go before we're picked up at 11am from the hotel to head to the airport. Our flight will be at around 2 in the afternoon, so we'll be back in the Philippines at around 6:30 Philippine time. Set your watches, we're coming home!!
on Monday, November 2, 2009
So this morning I woke up to my 6:30 am alarm for breakfast. As much as a buffet it was, it really had a variety of foods to choose from! At least after looking around yesterday, I have a good idea of what I'm getting tomorrow. xDD

So this morning we went out to a city tour, visiting two temples and Gem Company amidst our little road trip around Bangkok. But since I didn't have the camera most of the time, I won't bother going into much detail, save for having to ring 44 (well, 41) bells at the second temple, supposedly for good luck. ^___^b

MBK was a nice place to be at afterwards. My sister recommended we eat at Pepper Lunch, ironically a Japanese restaurant where she, my mother and I ended up eating Chicken Pepper Rice as our lunch. xDD I have to admit, though, my sister was right. I should really think about taking Kai to one of the branches back in the Philippines on one of our dates. ^__^v The amakuchi (aka honey brown sauce) was delicious too!

Ahaha. After that, we had some Dairy Queen for dessert (though it was sad that they didn't have Kit Kat. DDD8) before we all went about our ways browsing MBK for things to buy. And boy was there a selection! xDD

Here's a list of the things I bought for me and/or for Kai!
The first thing I bought was a hat worth THB250 for myself!! Hahahaha. I've been looking around for this, and I'm glad I finally found one~ Wheeeee~

Next thing I bought was a shirt for Kai. I didn't take a picture of it since I wanted it to stay in the plastic. But the shirt color is red and the design is of two dogs. 8D

After that, my sister and I spotted our dad miraculously amidst the crowd before we headed upstairs a floor to look at all the gadgets and gizmos where my dad suggested my sister looks for a case for her iTouch. I piped up about a DS to my dad and we looked around for a while for a reasonable price.

In the middle of our search, I found this Animob container worth THB120 whose design just reminded me so much of Kai I just had to get it for her~

Not too far from there, my dad was talking with one of the clerks about a Nintendo DS and we agreed that we'd purchase that! 8DD After all, spending THB3900 on it with the package sounded like a good deal. ^__^b A little downside was that I had to spend some time choosing the 40 games, and I spent the other half of my trip money plus a few from the money I still had for it but at least I already have it!! 8DD (Note: I wasn't really playing with the DS here. I was just posing. xDD)

After that, we regrouped at the ground floor where I browsed around the souvenir store and ended up purchasing Kai a panda hat worth THB220. Since it couldn't fit me, it'd fit her just right (I think xD)!

The last thing I got before we left were two bracelets worth THB80 each; one for myself and one for Kai. Wheee. And finally we headed back to the hotel to rest.

Our evening trip was out to the Loy-Krathong Festival near the Pagoda. 8D We got to experience making a wish and setting our krahtongs down into the river and watched them floated off. What I found nostalgic about it all was that back in my 2nd year of high school, we celebrated an Asian Festival where my class was assigned the country of Thailand. The song we sang was what you'd call the theme song of the festival. When our tour guide, Popeye sang it in the shuttle, I remembered. xDD

So yes. Afterwards, we headed to the night market for a while to browse around before heading back to the hotel. I got to experience room service with my mom and enjoyed some carbonara! Mmmmmmmmmm~

Day two was just as tiring, but altogether another fun day. ^__^b

This is the first time since I've made this blog that I'll be making short accounts of my trips abroad. Finally, I can finally get away from the Philippines!!

^________________________________^

I only have a limited pictures to share (ones that I take with my laptop xD), but I'll be sure to link you all to the pictures that we accumulate during our trip here in Thailand.

We all woke up at around 6:00 or 6:30 in the morning before leaving for the airport earlier. @__@ Now I may have had my share of waking up early, but this is a different thing altogether because it's a trip abroad that doesn't happen everyday.

We checked in at around 9:00 am since the flight was at 10:30 am. The flight lasted for about 3 hours. It was interesting to note that i actually enjoyed eating airplane food this time around. Not that it mattered since all of it dissolved during landing. Hahaha.

So yeah. We checked in here at Centre Point. Mind you, we're a biiiiiiiiiig group. About... 13 of us? *counts* Yeah.

Since we didn't have any plans for the day, we spent the rest of the day shopping. Not my cup of tea, but hey, if there's money to spend and people worth spending on, why not, right? xD We looked around Platinum to eat things to buy and I was looking around for some souvenirs for Kai and things for myself. My mom gave me money to spend (US$100, which is approximately... THB 3200) for this trip. ^___^b

And spending all that time looking, surrounded by clothes, bags and the like (and do take note, I have my eyes set on a limited selection of things and designs), I saw a few interesting things to purchase but didn't purchase them yet. xDD. Although, I DID end up purchasing two things. And that's what I took pictures of. xDD This way I can show Kai too. :3

These pictures are in my hotel room that I share with my siblings. I'm at the desk charging my laptop as I type this entry.

This first picture displays the 3-forTHB100 keychains I got for Kai. My first pack of sovenirs! 8D From left to right, you'll notice the designs. Puppies, bunnies and pandas. Uberly uberly cute!! (>u<)

This second picture is what I bought for myself. A bracelet worth THB150. ^___^b The red one over there. *points* How does it look? Tell me what you think!

Alright. I think I'll start getting ready for bed now. Need an early start tomorrow with that morning tour. I'll be back tomorrow evening to update you all on how the day went, and update you with pictures too if I can! I'll be sure to have a picture taken with my awesome nephew Tristan. Hahaha.

Night one and all!

PS. We're one hour behind here in Bangkok (with respect to the Philippines)! ^__^b

Worry means to feel uneasy or concerned about something.

Why did I bring up that definition? That's because it's been the pinnacle of my thoughts these past few days. Let me elaborate.

*clears throat*

Now would be the best time for me to explain why my name here on blogger is Travis Nathan. A pseudonym at first glance, I know. But there's more to the story of why it is as it is. You see, virtually speaking, I belong to a little family comprised of my advisors throughout the time when problems arose and third parties insisted on breaking Kai and I apart. Although one of them turned out to be an antagonist at one point, ultimately he's turned a new leaf and returned to his usual post on the good side of the force.

These advisors of mine were more than willing to be considered my two fathers at one point. I'll codename them Daddeh Owl and Daddeh Burr, as I usually call them whenever we chat. (Note that Daddeh Owl is the one who was the antagonist at one point)

Daddeh Owl was actually the first I considered to be my father. and Daddeh Burr, at the time was the 'mother' (You'd be imagining Ouran High School Host Club at this point). In the context of a typical family setting, I was considered a son because I was with Kai. And for that, I donned the name Travis to make things more appropriate. When this whole naming system caught on, Kai's virtual parents (more advisors of ours) had christened her the name Kaira Sophia. In light of that, I inquired to my own virtual parents my second name. After deliberation between the two, my name stood as thus: Travis Nathan.

Travis, meaning 'crossroads' and Nathan, meaning 'gift from God'.

In this virtual family I found myself in, I realized that I was shedding tears time and again over one issue or another in the confines of my room with my laptop on and the screen displaying various IM windows where we would be chatting. At other times, I felt incredibly moved or inching back in disbelief at the things that would be said.

Daddeh Owl had taken the effort of telling me a handful of bedtime stories that I still keep stored in my USB (Yes, this is the same guy I mentioned in my very first post here), so I felt the genuine efforts he put into those stories.

As time passed, complications arose. I won't go into elaborating all that anymore since it's something I hate to dwell back on as much as I'm able to. In the time when Daddeh Owl was playing antagonist my 'mother' become my father, and thus spawned Daddeh Burr. While Daddeh Owl thought it amusing to call me sport, Daddeh Burr was much more creative and began giving me several nicknames which differed from time to time. Bebeh burr, Bebeh puppeh burr and so on and so forth. The list goes on and on.

The methods Daddeh Burr had used on me to get me to tell him what the problem was was unorthodox but effective. Since it had a hint of sarcasm, underneath was a layer of seriousness in the action of a simple bath. I'd become a puppy in his hands and forced to take a bath against my will until I had told him whatever it was I was brooding over.

Daddeh Burr was online more often since then to chat with me just as Daddeh Owl was before his antagonist reign. And just as Daddeh Owl's usage of '^______________^' rubbed off on me, so did Daddeh Burr's misspellings during chats and usage of 'Woooooooooo' rubbed off on me as well.

And then recently, Daddeh Owl returned to his usual fatherly self since he apparently had a mild case of split personality that was the cause of the antagonist issue. And so I returned to having both virtual parents back as both my fathers. While the two had some issues before, they had decided to start anew and become friends again.

With that whole introduction over, I can shift to why I talk about 'worry' in this entry.

The simple fact that they came online often on a nightly basis during those times signified that they cared. And the fact that they took their time trying to understand and help me with my problems was because they were worried. There was a lingering feeling of fatherly love.

Realistically speaking, I've never seen them in person unless it was a true coincidence that we crossed each other's paths, especially in the early part of this year towards the end of last school year. And that was what I had been brooding about. A shallow reason as it may seem, the wish of meeting these two among anybody else is very strong.

Whenever I change moods, it's easily detected in the manner in which I respond during chats. And whenever I'm brooding, I become monotone in my responses. Not unfamiliar with how I am, Kai, Daddeh Burr and Daddeh Owl, and even a few of my other friends share the same worry of me. Because of that, I'm grateful. And because of this incident, I'm reminded that worry isn't something that's loosely spread around and felt by just anyone. Only people who care take their time to worry about you. And those are the people you should hold most dear to you.

To the people concerned:
For the concern you all showed for me, I'm truly grateful.
For any depressions I've caused, I apologize.
Know one thing, though: Because we are bonded by fate, I can continue believing in you all who give me love, care and support amidst anything and everything I struggle through. So thank you very much.

When you look for that special someone in your life, do you set any standards? Do you write a little list that if they do all those things, you're sure that this person is the one? Well, to each their own, I say, so I've got no right pointing fingers; so instead, I'll just put my two cents in. ^_______________^

On a personal note, I didn't really set up any list of how my special someone should be or what they should do to impress me or where they should take me to earn my satisfaction. In fact, I own up to the fact that I didn't ever imagine I would need to make up such a list. And look where that's got me: having the most wonderful, sweet and adorable girlfriend one could ever ask for!!!! 8DDDD

I'm not exaggerating, let me assure you. Kai's one in a million, and it's always been my headache that there have been quite a number of guys and girls who would kill (though most not literally) to have her. Sure she's had her number of ex-girlfriends and boyfriends, but hey, the bottom line is she's with me, ain't that right? I won't go to the 'I'm blessed that the chose me' and all that for the mere reason that it isn't the purpose of this blog entry. xD

What is the purpose of this entry is simply this: to discuss my little thoughts on credentials in a relationship. I don't have any to speak of, but hey, there's no harm in speaking my mind out~ ^__^v

So, credentials. Nothing's wrong with daydreaming about that perfect guy/girl; what kind of hair they should have, what background they should have, what special talents they should have, etc. But when it comes to actually looking for someone like that, don't keep your hopes up too high. Just find someone who, in your eyes, can become that perfect special someone in your life. Never expect that that perfect person exists and is waiting for you to find them.

You can, at your own leisure, write up a little list of where you want that someone to take you to; or things you expect them do to. After all, one's fantasies have a chance of being fulfilled, often with the one they end up being with. ^_____^b

If you do own a list of credentials, then be prepared just as well to be surprised time and again. There will be times when that someone does things that will make you love/hate them more. After all, in their own little world, trying to impress you is one thing they never want to mess up. ^___^v The girlfriend/boyfriend you're currently with may end up making a few mistakes, but also the best choices to bring your relationship to another level, regardless whether it ascend/descend a notch.

Should you not have any credentials, like myself, then try counting the number of times you've been 'wowed' by your girlfriend/boyfriend. Never mind if it's in the simple wardrobe they put on to unintentionally seduce you! Consider the times that you're with them; where you go together, what you talk about together, what you do together and so on and so forth. If there are times when you feel like you're the luckiest person on the face of the earth for being with the one you're with now, then there's no longer a need to search for any other~ ^________________________^b

I'll end this entry with something I picked up from a movie (apparently was My Sassy Girl) that really made me think about a few things. Here's what I picked up from what I got to watch. The two, Jordan and Charlie, both wrote letters to one another and buried it by this particular tree, promising each other to read it after one year. So yeah. Time capsules are interesting, don't you think? 8D

Jordan: Well, if he and I were meant to be together I would have been healed by yesterday.

Old Man: What kind of nonsense is that? Yesterday was one day ago, your healing was off by one day.

Jordan: One very important day.

*Old man offers to help her dig up the letter to read*

Jordan: Destiny has spoken, and to search for him, will be like trying to shape and mold destiny and that just can't be a good idea.

Old Man: Just suppose that the shaping and molding of destiny is, in fact, your destiny.

Jordan: Huh... I never thought about it like that.

Old Man: I'll tell you what destiny means if you really want to know. That's the least I can do for letting me stare.

Jordan: What does it mean?

Old Man: Destiny is the bridge you build to the one you love.

Jordan: But if it's meant to be, it's meant to be...

Old Man: I've been hearing people say that to me for 78 years and I got to tell ya it really pisses me off. Okay, I leave you to your letter. It's not polite for me to stay. Besides, you're gonna cry. It's very moving. He must have written many drafts. I wish you a story with a happy ending and wisdom to look for it.

Jordan: Thank you.

I really loved the Old Man's words about destiny. It got my attention in an instant that I began questioning what destiny meant to me. And whatever definition that would hold for me, I know for one shining moment that to be with Kai is destiny.

Since I finished recording a fandub of this particular song earlier this afternoon (as requested by my girlfriend), I decided to share the lyrics with you since they're just so cute and meaningful. The song, 'Unnoticed Love' was sung by Furukawa Yuuta, who we should all know as the fourth generation actor of Fuji Syuusuke in the Prince of Tennis Musicals (aka Tenimyu). Romaji and English translation below. The video down there was provided on YouTube by AmarisRiku. Arigatou gozaimasu for sharing this! *bows*

The lyrics, if you look at it, speak some unrequited love business building up, like feeling love for a person from childhood. Ain't it sweet? 8DDD

asa me ga samete gao wo aratte ha wo migaite kimi wo omotte ...
hajimari ga omoi dasezu nichijou kasareta boku no koi ...
In the morning I wake up, wash my face, brush my teeth and I think of you...
I remember the day you became the love of my life...

ana no aita SWEATER kubi wo toushite yubi de kakushite isoi de ie wo deta
onaji you na mainichi ni toori sugiteita kisetsu
I put on my sweater, covering my finger I hurriedly left my house
Though the days looked all the same the seasons kept passing

shinkokyuu shitemo mada tarinakute sagashita keredo kotae wa nai ...
osanai koro no kioku de suki to iereba ii kedo ...
Even if I take a deep breath, it still isn't enough, however I searched I couldn't find an answer...
In my childhood memories I would be good if I could say I love you, but...

todokanai negai demo kuchi zusanda MELODY
imi mo naku korogatta chiisa na koi no oto I'M LOVIN' YOU
tada mitsumeteta dekoboko ni utsuru kage
Even if it is an unreached desire, it's a singing melody
without a reason it rolled on, the sound of a small love I'M LOVIN' YOU
I just gazed at your uneven reflected shadow

yume no owari wa itsumo setsu naku onaji you na asa he to hora mata motodoori
osanai koro no kioku wa natsukashisa dake wo nokosu
The end of my dream always becomes more painful, when the next morning looks again the same as ever
My childhood memories will only leave a feeling of nostalgia

kawattenai you de kawatteiru kisetsu no you ni shizuka ni yukkuri
boku no naka ni umarete kita atarashii kanjou ga
They haven't changed like the gradually changing seasons
Inside me a new feeling has been born

dare datte jibun wo dakishimete hanasanai
keredo ima sunao no mama egaita ai no iro I'M FEELIN' YOU
kimi no chikaku ni oite kita UNNOTICED LOVE
Anyone, I'll hold tight and won't let go
But now, with my whole heart, the colour of love I'M FEELIN' YOU
the UNNOTICED LOVE that has been close to you

shinkokyuu shitemo mada tarinakute sagashi mitsuketa boku no kotae
boku no inai kono sekai de umeta chiisa na negai wo
Even if I take a deep breath, it's still not enough, my answer I found
In the world inside me I buried my small desires

umarete kara ima made dore dake no koi wo shita darou ?
soshite kore kara kono saki dore dake no koi wo suru darou ?
From the moment I was born until now, how much love did I feel?
And from here on into the future, how much love will I feel?

koi no kazu dake iron na katachi no ai ga umarete
sono dore mo ga kirei de taisetsu de toki ni hakanai
Only a few loves are being born into different shapes (of love)
All of those are at times beautiful and important in vain

I'M LOVIN' YOU I'M FEELIN' YOU
kimi no chikaku ni oite kita UNNOTICED LOVE
I'M LOVIN' YOU I'M FEELIN' YOU
The UNNOTICED LOVE that has been close to you

ashita mata aeru to miageta sora no iro
utsutta keshiki ni kasanaru koi mo you
If we only can meet again tomorrow, I look up to the color of the sky
In the reflected scenery, our love overlapped as well
