After so many weeks, I finally retrieved the USB I lent over to our Philosophy teacher's assistant that contained our Midterm and Final Exam videos. A shallow victory, but with my other USB refusing to cooperate, I very much rely on my red 2.0GB CD-R King USB (I named Eiji) to carry my files.
