So earlier this afternoon I was spending my usual time between 12:30-3:30 in ALLS, and Dr. Wayne Patterson from Howard University, who was going to be giving a Cybersecurity Talk among other things tomorrow, was there. One interesting conversation that took place was when he was inquiring about the venue of a certain event that was going to be taking place at around this time when he was clarifying that it be 'on the roof' of some building in school.
I laughed, of course, and he was asking why.
Then I told him that it's more of a 'roof deck' than a roof because we mean that it's the top floor that could be considered the roof so there we go.
Some new terminology that he and I can laugh about whenever someone mentions having an event on the roof (which is not to say that it's actually on top of the roof itself). xD

It was an interesting night driving home today. I just came back from taking Kai home and as I slowed to a stop just outside our house and honked the horn, I noticed that no one else was home, granted that it was already 9 in the evening. From my rear view mirror, I saw two sets of headlight approaching and signaled right to indicate that I was waiting for the gate to open.
As our house help finally came to open the gate, I check the rear view again and noticed that the first car also signaled right: my sister.
I drove the car to the inside parking space and set the gears to park, looking in my rear view once more to see my sister come in as well. And then moments later, my parents drove in as well! xDDDD
Coincidence of coincidence that we all came home at about the same time.

珍味＃１２。（ちんみ＃１２）Chinmi #12. trans. Tidbit #12.
Earlier this morning I went up to brush my teeth. My mom was in their dressing room putting on make-up and I randomly began browsing my dad's schedule that he prints out every year to list down his flights, breaks and whatnot from work. I spotted something amiss.
"....Why is my birthday on a Tuesday when it was a Wednesday this year...?"
Upon closer inspection I noticed the first mistake: May 1st and 2nd were both Mondays, but that technically was just a minor problem. The BIG problem came with June where it jumped back in time to Monday, moving everything until the end of the year two days back!!
"Oh, no woooooonder." xDD
Told Dad about it and we all had a nice little laugh about it.

私は何のクラスで学んだこと。（わたしはなにのくらすでまなんだこと）Watashi wa nani no kurasu de mananda koto. trans. What I Learned in Class.
So today my CS162b or Systems Programming lab class is (meaning I'm in class as I type this) meeting, and I'm finally sitting through a class under the 'great' Doc Mana; so as early as now, I, along with the rest of my classmates, have gotten a few good laughs about facts that just sound funny coming from Doc Mana.
Case in point:
More (Motif) vs. Less (Lesstif)
The verdict: Less is greater than More
The difference is best found on the command prompt, or so I understand. But the logic from a commoner's point of view is just hilarious. xD

This is somewhat related to my previous post concerning my blockmates and our lunch out together. Just a little funny scene on our way over there to Shakeys.
It was raining, and since it was just walking distance, we all decided to walk, so we pulled out umbrellas and shared if necessary. The funny thing here is the fact that ALL those who took out umbrellas were of the color blue.... except for Robert's which was green.

It would have been a nice thing to capture in a picture from afar I say. Sadly it was raining. Oh well. Fun fun.
