So today is a new month. One of the reasons why I chose to make a quick blog today was because it was Aiba Hiroki's birthday today! This entry's topic is somewhat hilarious in its own right, but might only make sense to me and my girlfriend.

But anyway, yesterday we passed by Data Blitz to pre-order Pokemon X & Y for the 3DS (since you know, we both have one) after a satisfying dinner at Ha Yuan Spring, a chinese restaurant along the back road of my office.

We went exploring a bit in Glorietta to look for some stuff before calling it quits and just headed off to Timezone to sing some songs. I had the mic for most of the time, and just like the fangirls we are, we usually enjoyed singing songs of Maroon 5 (because Adam Levine). One Maroon 5 song in particular would always have a "version 2" so to speak because of the different manner in singing it. The song? She Will Be Loved. The version? Blakeified!

As the term suggests, it's singing the song a Blake might have sung it. So the lower key, and just to add spice to the whole Shevine chemistry, flip the words around.

Another song she asked me to Blakeify was Vanessa Carlton's A Thousand Miles.

Needless to say, it worked.

I should find some more songs like that.

I have a routine five days a week - wake up at 5:30 (or 5:15 on Wednesdays), take a shower, get dressed, ride to Makati with my mom, work for 8 hours, ride home with my mom at an indeterminable time, go home, chat with Kai if it's still early, then sleep, of course. I neglect adding when I actually eat, but mostly because it's usually negligible, stagnant or on the fly. Whatever the case may be, rest assured that I don't go without packing in some food amidst all that busy-body cycle that encapsulates my week.

Fridays, luckily enough, tend to be more spontaneous if you take into consideration that it's become common practice for Kai to stay for the weekend, which ultimately means meeting up Friday after work to do whatever. As of late, Kai and I have been finding ways to pass the time, especially if we want to hitch a ride with my mom heading home. For quite some time we took a bus but both of us easily got dizzy during the hour long (sometimes longer) commute that we settled for just riding home with my mom for convenience's sake.

Recently, Kai and I discovered Wako, a Japanese Family KTV and Restaurant right along A. Arnaiz Ave. where I work. A fellow officemate of mine, Mawsi, brought up the place during one random conversation in the pantry while we were consuming our lunch. Very quickly, we became attached to the place since it housed a number of TENIMYU and anime songs in actual Japanese! So a return trip soon is surely in order!

As things are, I don't mind the tedious work schedule. It's all to work myself up to a regular spot (just like Tenipuri!) and rise through the ranks within my company. Fingers crossed!

写真と楽しい。(しゃしんとたのしい)Shashin to Tanoshii. trans. Photography and Fun.

Kai and I went to Eastwood since she needed to take some shots with her camera. I decided that we go to eat at Jack's Loft for dinner before having to go out and point and click. It wasn't drizzling so we managed to go out and walk around, giving Kai an opportunity to take the shots she needed. And of course I decided to take some pictures as well with Ree my digicam~

After that was said and done we headed off to the arcade for some night time fun! Sung some fun karaoke, went racing and air hockey and some Tekken 6 button-mashing goodness. But what took the cake was that I was lucky enough to get Kai at Flip Flop solar-powered swaying pig from that game contraption whose name I forgot.

木曜日の午後。(もくようびのごご)Mokuyoubi no Gogo. trans. Thursday Afternoon.

Today Kai and I went out after our classes to watch The Last Airbender at Gateway. Been a while since I commuted around and I must say I've missed it. I would have taken pictures of the day but my dad held my camera hostage these past few days and only returned it this evening.

Anyway, we watched the 5:10 showing and so ate some Reyes Barbecue and did some KTV at Timezone to pass the time. Ah, songs like 'I Drive Myself Crazy', 'Uptown Girl', 'I'll Be' and 'Truly, Madly, Deeply' was a nice change of pace to our usual repertoire of songs. If only there were songs from our favorite artists or from TeniMyu. *sigh*

This weekend we'll be spending time together! I'm helping her with her prelims for school by acting in her short film~ ^o^/
